My sweet and loving Grandma passed away on Wednesday 7th October, but our grieving for her was put on hold as we attended the burial and thanksgiving service for my dear Uncle Malcolm the following day, who passed away after a long illness.
Both their lives were a testament to the love of Jesus and they lived to pass on that love to others. They were marked by their gentleness, compassion for others and desire to serve their Lord faithfully.
Thank you to those of you who have been praying for my family as we work through this difficult time in our lives.
Both Grandma and Uncle Malc will be sorely missed.

praying for the family.
Hi Rel. Love and prayers to you and your whole family. We are so sorry for your double loss, and share in your tears and grief.
I'd give you a hug but it's a bit hard electronically. I pray that the fact that they are alive (just on a different plane) and partying with the Lord will encourage you in your dark times as you come to terms with this separation.
So very sorry. So hard to lose them. What a wonderful legacy they left to your family. So good to know they're walking in Glory now. Thank you for sharing them with us.
It's evident that you carry on your grandmother's legacy; not just with your love of books, but also with the kind and generous spirit you convey to those you come in contact with, myself included.
*Hugs* and prayers for you and your precious family.
Thank you so much for taking the time to encourage me ~ I so appreciate it.

Rel,
I haven't been able to log into blogger for several days now, and am just able to comment.
Please know I am praying for you and your family. What a comfort that they both had such a sweet testimony and that you will be with them again one day!
HUGS to you my Aussie friend!
Kim - thanks for your lovely words :) I appreciate you!
