I keep saying it, I know, but I love sharing new books with you even if it means waiting a long time to get them in your hands!
Bethany House have long been known for their high quality historical fiction and it looks like they have a good mix here of adventure, comedy, romance and friendship. The stand out for me is Karen Witemeyer's third novel. The cover certainly reflects her style, whimsical, stylish and fun!
I enjoyed Yvonne Harris' debut novel so hoping A River to Cross holds more of the same reading delights and Mary's first book with Bethany is sure to have her fans thrilled :) New authors are always fun to anticipate so I'm looking forward to Elizabeth Camden's debut with Bethany, too.
Please share - which ones are getting your book loving hearts racing?

With Elizabeth's photograph in hand--a dark-haired beauty with smiling eyes--Jake rides over the border to find her.
After the Rangers defeat the marauders and rescue Elizabeth, Jake is surprised to learn she's not the spoiled daughter of a senator that he was expecting. In fact, he finds himself taken by her. And she by him. But the Mexicans won't give up that easily, as Elizabeth becomes the target of an all-out hunt. Leaving Elizabeth back at Fort Williams, Jake and his men set off again, this time to go after Diego himself--to apprehend him and his renegades and bring them all to justice. Julia Gilliland has always been interested in the natural world around her. ok i just have to call out the obvious....as opposed to the supsense/spec books where only one shows an entire face...do women need to see faces in order to buy a book? Even though I plan on reading almost all of these, none of them are screaming spectacular to me. *waits for tomatoes*
i meant none of the COVERS..not the stories. As i said in the previous post, the covers could be completely blank and i'd still buy them bc i trust Bethany House like whoa.
Covers are certainly subjective but like you I am rarely swayed by a cover - it is the author's name that hooks me :)
No doubt, covers with faces sell. Bethany know what they are doing so I'm sure it is something that must work for the majority of readers.
Like Deborah, I'll read anything by Bethany House, but the one cover that just does not do anything for me is Yvonne Harris's. Maybe that's partially because I wasn't really crazy about her first book. All of the others look fabulous, especially Nancy Moser's new book. Can't wait to get my hands on that one!
Hey Christy - I'm not a huge fan of Yvonne's covers either but I really enjoyed her first book - LOL! Our differences ensure there are a lot of authors writing :)
I've been watching forever for new release! How do you just know? LOL Thanks for showing them Rel!!
Oh, no - all those faces! LOL
Wow! These look great!!! LOVE the covers! :D Hope I get to review some of them on my blog... ;)

Awwww! The attack of the smiling faces! yes I think those covers work for a certain demographic very well. That would not be my demographic. LOL
Elizabeth Camden's STORY sounds really great, though!
but what I really NEED is more Siri Mitchell and Tamera Alexander!
I'm a Stephanie Grace Whitson fan. Her new book sounds like fun.
All the covers are pretty, but fairly similar. I usually pick up a book based on the author's name, but an unusual cover will spark my curiousity.
has anyone found out anything about Elizabeth Camden? she turns up no hits when i google her. pen name perhaps?
I can't wait to read these. Some are new authors to me, so it should be fun. Nancy Moser has to be one of my favorite authors. Recently I went back and read all her old books. They are great reading.
As to the covers, it's usually the author that grabs my attention, not the covers although they are a close second. Except when it comes to mystery books. No matter who the author is, when I see claws and such, I don't even look at the back of the cover to see what the book is about. Just doesn't appeal to me.
They all sound good...with lots of good covers. The cover that appeals least to me...Out of Control...I like my cowboys a bit 'hunkier'. *wink*
I always love Bethany House's historical fiction. :)
LOL! I agree, Jenny ;-)
Authors for me, too, Scrappy Quilter and Ann,, although I love seeing all the new covers!
Carrie & Amy - yep, the faces strike again!!
Bethany does historicals so well, Michelle - they are the premier historical fiction CF publisher in my view.
Elizabeth Camden remains a mystery, Deb!!
Margaret - my pleasure. It's fun checking out new stories, isn't it?
I am not liking these covers as much as Revell's for some reason but I LOVE Karen's cover and does Annabelle on Delia's book look like Kate Hudson or what?!
XOXO~ Renee
