Character Spotlight ~ James L Rubart's Micah Taylor

Micah Taylor

James Rubart has written a stellar debut novel that will take your breath away! ROOMS captured me from the start and I am still pondering its implications months after finishing the book. Seriously, it is that good!

Enjoy this spotlight on Micah. Over to you, Jim:~

Brief physical description

5'11”, dark brown hair, blue eyes, lean/athletic build

Actor/famous person

Chris Evans (who played Johnny Storm in The Fantastic Four)

Strengths and weaknesses

Creative, spontaneous, smart, passionate. Angry deep down, sometimes sarcastic, moves at a frantic pace.

Quirk (if any)

More cream than coffee when he needs a java fix.

Your inspiration for the character

One third a friend of mine, one third Tom Cruise's character in Jerry McGuire, one third me.

Background to the story

It's the story of a young Seattle software tycoon who inherits a home on the Oregon Coast that turns out to be a physical manifestation of his soul.

It's the Twilight Zone meets It's a Wonderful Life. Then mix in some of The Matrix, C.S. Lewis, My Heart, Christ's Home, Wild at Heart, Disney's The Kid, some romance ... mix them all together and you get ROOMS.

Appreciate this, Jim! Can't wait to get my hands on your next novel :)

On Thursday, the spotlight shines on Siri Mitchell's Clara Carter from her new release, She Walks in Beauty. Don't miss it!
