Dee Henderson News

Just heard some interesting news many of you will be interested in!  I often receive questions about romantic suspense author Dee Henderson and whether she will be writing another book ~ the answer is yes!

Bethany House will be releasing Dee's first new novel in six years in October, 2012!

That's all I know at this stage but I'm sure, given the tight time frame, we will all know more soon :)  Here's hoping it is a fabulous story ~ I'm looking forward to it!

For those who adored her books, do you think she can top her O'Malley series?

Top the Omalley Series? That will be hard but possible, either way I cannot wait, going to reread the Omalley Series (again) in celebration!

It is exciting, isn't it, girls?!

Sandy and Elle ~ while you are waiting for Dee's book to release, check out Ronie Kendig's Dead Reckoning and her Discarded Heroes series ~ Ronie's books replaced my Dee withdrawals and then some ;-)

Waving to you both, Candy and Ronie xo

hooray! I just re-read Danger in the Shadows (O'Malley prequel) for about the 50th time. I would have to say that it is probably my favorite fiction book of all time. I wanted to keep going with the O'Malleys (for the umteenth time) but they are still packed in a box after my last move (not sure which box). I am soooooooooo excited that Dee has a new book coming out. I hope and pray that her health has improved so that she is able to put her focus into writing for all of us avid reader fans of hers!

This makes me SO happy! Her O'Malley series was what got me into Christian suspense and her endorsements of others has been what lead me to other great authors! Thanks for the news. I cannot wait!

So excited about this! Not sure she can top the O'Malley series, but she can try. ;)

I can't wait! I wonder if it follows from Before I Wake? That one finished in a way that seemed like there was more to the story.

But to top the O'Malley series? That will be hard.

I agree with Beth re: ending of Before I Wake.

As for the O'Malley series, she can top it by not having as many references to soda and coffee! Honestly, I started worrying about the health of all the characters as not one ever seemed to drink plain water and if they weren't buzzing on caffeine they were on sugar. I'd hate to have their kidneys, pancreases or livers. :-)

I'm looking forward to read it!
I wonder what it will be about?

I don't know if she will be able to top the O'Malley series. She would have to work pretty hard at it I think.

Wow! What exciting news! I'm not sure how she'll be able to top the O'Malley series, it was phenomenal. The prequel is especially great! I have a co-worker who is currently on her 3rd or 4th set of the series, as all of her old copies are worn and falling apart. Ha! Actually, some of my favorite Dee books are from her military series Uncommon Heroes. Now THOSE books I need new copies of! I've read them so many times.

I'm with you, however. Ronie's books are definitely my new favorite. I work at a Christian bookstore and I've had so many customers coming in wanting new books from Dee, so I point them in Ronie's direction. All of them have come back hooked and wanting more! :)

Oh wow! This is definitely exciting news! I am on my 3rd book of the O'Malley series and am really enjoying them. I don't know how I haven't read them yet!

On the Ronie Kendig frame of thought, I am dying to get my hands on one of her books! I wish our library carried them (I've asked but so far it's a no go)...boo. I've heard wonderful things!
