As the case evolves, Ben realises there is a lot more at stake than two brothers brawling when an investigative trip to Norway reveals secrets best left hidden about the brothers' activities and the potential side effects of the drug.

Rick Acker's sequel to Dead Man's Rule is excellent! I enjoyed the fast pace, intrigue and courtroom battles in this page turning novel. The premise of a wonder drug is eerily relevant and combining it with sibling rivalry, greed, power and the ever present black market makes this an enthralling and masterful read. Not having read Dead Man's Rule did not detract from the story but I will be seeking it out now given the quality of Rick's writing and the engaging characters of Ben and Noelle Corbin. Rick is an author to watch and one who will gain a strong following among male readers as well.
