Amy Wallace's Healing Promises and Aussie Giveaway

If you have spent any time hanging around here you will know how much I have enjoyed Amy Wallace's Defenders of Hope series, so I am thrilled to be able to offer three copies of Amy's latest book, Healing Promises to give away!

Before I give you the requirements of entry, check out the book:~

Facing a new threat.
When FBI Agent Clint Rollins takes a bullet during a standoff, it might just save his life. But not even the ugly things he’s seen during his years working in the Crimes Against Children Unit could prepare him for the overwhelming powerlessness of hospital tests revealing an unexpected diagnosis. If only Sara weren’t retreating into doctor mode…he needs his wife now more than ever.

Frozen in fear.
Sara Rollins is an onco
logist with a mission–beating cancer when she can, easing her patients’ suffering at the very least. Now the life of her tall Texan husband is at stake. She never let the odds steal her hope before, but in this case, the question of God’s healing promises is personal. Can she hold on to the truth she claimed to believe?

Faith under fire.
As Clint continues to track down a serial kidnapper despite his illness, former investigations haunt his nightmares, pushing him beyond solving the case into risking his life and career. Clint struggles to believe God is still the God of miracles. Especially when he needs not one, but two. Everything in his life is reduced to one all-important question: Can God be trusted?

And a little something on Amy:~

I don't know if this is correct as I'm thinking of it off the top of my head :)
"Be strong and of a good courage. Fear not, for the Lord your God, He it is that is with you."
I don't know the reference :)

There are so so many!

"For God did not give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, of love and of self-discipline."
2 Timothy 1:7

At school this morning the P-2's were singing along with Colin Buchanan CD's for devotions.

"Nothing takes God by surprise.
He is Sovereign
He's in in control".

Yep ~ that should do away with the fear!

'Fear not, for I am with you.' Isaiah 43:5

I love this verse. So simple and yet those last four words have such an impact 'I am with you'!! That is definitely something I can rest in.

The verse about timidity and a spirit of power etc. has been on my mind this week but I also found this one. "So do not fear, for I am you God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." Isaih 41:10

I am really looking forward to reading this book!
